Wear and Residual Stress Analysis of Waste Sea Shell and B4C Particles Reinforced Green Hybrid Aluminium Metal Composite

Present work, evaluates the effects of Sea shell and B4C powder on mechanical behavior aluminium material (Al 6082). Stir casting method was used to fabricate a hybrid composite Al 6082 with sea B4C. A linear reciprocating tribometer evaluate wear friction behavior. The addition particles, resulted in 7-13 % reduction coefficient 32-43 improvement resistance as compared alloy. average Vicker hardness also improved by 20-70 %. residual stresses developed during testing were measured inspect generation fabricated composite. Optical micrographs scanning electron microscope (SEM) obtained analyze prepared composites for Waste shells reinforced alloys. Microhardness along microstructure stress green metal are presented. data have been shown this paper use tribological applications.
